Sofia Noori
Co-Founder and CEO, Nema Health
Sofia grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, the daughter of immigrants from Pakistan and Vietnam. She earned her BA from UC Berkeley, her MD from UCSF School of Medicine, and completed her psychiatry residency at Yale. Sofia began her career as a rape crisis counselor before becoming a psychiatrist focused on PTSD and interpersonal violence. In 2021, she co-founded Nema Health, building a virtual model to deliver evidence-based trauma care at scale.
