Cherée Johnson

Cherée graduated from Florida A&M University and began her career as a chemical engineer at 3M before pivoting to law at the University of Minnesota. She built her career as an IP lawyer, rising through leadership roles at Cargill, Kraft Heinz, McCormick, W.R. Grace, and Dentsply Sirona, and in 2024 became Chief Legal Officer at SPX Technologies. She created Haswell & Co. in 2025, an AI governance and executive advisory firm that helps leaders navigate complexity by bringing structure and clarity to AI use. Cherée is on the board of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
